SMS updates
Release Ledger SMS program — operated by Vivus Tech LLC
Release Ledger is a platform operated by Vivus Tech LLC that helps participating music artists send SMS updates to fans who have explicitly opted in. Messages are artist-to-fan marketing and engagement — new music releases, show and event announcements, merch/drop updates, fan-club updates, and links to artist content or offers.

How fans opt in
There are two ways a fan can subscribe, and both require the fan's explicit consent:
- Web form.On an artist's Release Ledger Fan Hub page (which may also be reached by scanning a QR code), the fan enters their mobile number and checks the SMS-consent box, which is unchecked by default. The same form is reproduced below.
- Text keyword (double opt-in). The fan texts JOIN(or an artist's published custom keyword) to the artist's number and receives a confirmation message; they are not subscribed until they reply YES. Consent is recorded with a timestamp.
Consent is never a condition of any purchase or of access to a fan page. We never message purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party lists.
Subscribe to SMS updates
To subscribe by SMS, enter your mobile number and check the box, which is unchecked by default, then tap Connect & follow. To continue without SMS, leave the box unchecked — you'll go straight to the artist page and nothing is submitted or stored; phone is only required when you choose SMS. You can also open the full artist signup page.
